The purpose of New Hampshire Watchdog is to give the people of New Hampshire greater access into the substance and process of New Hampshire state government. We believe that public officials make better decisions when the public is informed. Our coverage will focus on both the intended and unintended consequences of public policy decisions, expanded access to public information, and the openness of government in setting budget and policy priorities.
NH Watchdog was founded in 2008 as the online investigative news division of the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy. It is currently run by Editor Grant Bosse as an independent newssite, dedicated to New Hampshire public policy news, research, and analysis.
