Foster’s is glad to see an end to the JUA Lawsuit saga.
The New Hampshire Supreme Court has said no to a request to reconsider its ruling rejecting the state’s claim to $110 million surplus from a fund that underwrites medical malpractice insurance.
Gov. John Lynch and the Legislature had hoped to balance the budget with the funds.
The failed attempt should be added to a growing list of other legislative miscues, especially the adoption of an LLC tax which looks like it is headed for voluntary repeal by the Legislature as is the much-hated campground tax.
