The boss, Charlie Arlinghaus, is trying to complete his collection of Red Books, the biannual almanac of New Hampshire government published by the Secretary of State’s Office. During a recent acquisition tour, he also picked up a copy of “The Brown Book of the New Hampshire Legislature 1975″, a precursor to the Blue Books which serve as a sort of yearbook for each session of the Legislature. The 1975 Brown Book didn’t contain pictures of every member of the Council, Senate, and House, but it did contain a number of pictures of prominent, and in some cases still active, New Hampshire politicians.
